Our Renewables team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!

* All civils and soil related aspects of renewable energy projects, specifically utility scale solar PV and onshore wind projects
* Work will include the design and applicable permitting of site layouts, grading plans, wind turbine foundations, water management, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, street improvements, project internal streets / site access, laydown areas, substation foundations and buildings, and other related items
* Creation of specifications and bill of quantities, input to and review of schedules and contracts
* Technical designs and specifications in compliance with industry codes and standards and incorporating feedback from Construction and Operations
* Support the preparation of post-construction documentation
* Working with industry standard software and tools
* Provide expertise during project development and implementation, remotely and on site (for example QA/QC activities, or contract management)
* Close link to mechanical / structural engineering (e.g. mounting structure & trackers for solar projects)
* Deep understanding of all soil related aspects (loads, materials, technical solutions)
* Support technical due diligences if needed
* Optimal cooperation within Renewables, consisting of developers, engineers, project-, contract- and offtake-managers, market and strategy analysts as well as a network of external partners
* Strong stakeholder management activities internally and externally

* University degree in Engineering
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience
* Proven track record in business transformation or operational excellence
* Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven track record of international work experience and appreciation of cultural differences
* Preferred primary office location Düsseldorf, but other Uniper locations are feasible as well (UK, Italy, Hungary, Poland, France, Sweden). The role can also be predominantly home office based.
