Job Description

WHAT TO EXPECT

 


Land Rover Direct Communications:

  • Develop bespoke direct communication strategies for each Land Rover launch programme, that provide maximum return for the business
  • Deliver communications plans that align with this strategy and overall x-channel campaign timings
  • Create tailored email and print assets, optimised for the channel and the audience whilst cohesive with the overall creative platform
  • Provide toolkits to NSC markets to allow for the local activation of global campaign strategies, communications plans and creative assets
  • Contribute to the planning, creative & delivery of data capture methods that support campaign personalisation ambitions e.g. ‘KMI forms’
  • Ensure each Direct Marketing campaign is firmly based upon audience insights, key brand messages and product benefits
  • Responsible for ensuring all content is product-correct and approved by SMEs
  • Seek engaging new creative approaches and innovative personalisation opportunities across channels
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with Regional and NSC contacts to encourage roll-out of campaigns globally
  • Implement an approach that allows the centre to measure market implementation and performance of campaigns to enable ongoing improvement
  • Responsibility for production budget control and key contact for agency fee discussions
  • Management of the scope of work, agency team structure and resource to ensure correct skills set
  • Manage, support and develop the Land Rover Direct Communications Coordinator

 


Jaguar and Land Rover Magazines:

  • Responsible for maintaining & optimising the customer magazine strategy including cadence, channel(s) and messaging to ensure the magazine delivers against objectives of the touch point
  • Lead the content planning to guarantee it delivers against customer and business objectives – taking part in senior stakeholder content discussions
  • Play an active role in content development. Oversee all shoot planning, vehicle logistics, product selection, contributor and talent selection, Pre Production meetings.
  • Manage the review and approval process for all content – with ultimate responsibility for ensuring content is the correct visual style and tone of voice, is product-correct, approved by SMEs and the Global Legal Team
  • Oversee localisation of magazine content for market uptake including supplementary local content development, translation process and market sign off – building strong relationships with market colleagues
  • Manage the agency team, content development and budgets
  • Ensure project milestones are delivered on time
  • In partnership with the Social Media and Website Managers, continue to plan and publish magazine imagery and film content across digital channels
  • Manage, support and develop the Direct Marketing Coordinator

 


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • Enthusiastic, diplomatic and able to operate under pressure
  • Ability to develop creative ideas and transform them into reality
  • Strong understanding of different audiences of each nameplate
  • Strong understanding of each channel in the comms mix
  • Strong understanding of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • Highly organised with a keen attention to detail
  • Commercial mindset
  • Record of improving diversity in output
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and external contacts as well as within the business
  • Strong team player
  • Dependable, flexible and adaptable to change
  • Strong communication skills – both spoken and written
  • Ability to present when needed
  • Strong numeracy and budgeting skills with experience using SAP
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
