The railway will redefine logistics and transport in the region, providing a modern, safe, efficient and sustainable network which will connect the seven emirates of the UAE to its neighbouring GCC countries.

As a Field QA/QC Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the quality management of main contractor, their sub-contractors and suppliers whilst managing the duties of team of engineer’s field engineers in liaison with engineer’s construction team.

You will be conducting audits, assist audits scheduling and monitoring contractors’ audits compliance and planning and coordinating contractors’ inspections, tests and laboratories and carrying out surveillance of the contractors and sub-contractors works. It’s a great opportunity to consolidate data, perform statistical analysis and perform KPI preparation and daily and weekly, monthly report writing. You will have the opportunity to carry out quality inductions and training with junior team members an develop their skills as a manager. You will have autonomy over carrying out surveillance of the Contractors and Sub-Contractors works alongside method statements, ITPs, material submittals and quality documents. Your key objective is to always to act professional, promote continuous improvement, lessons learned and preventative action.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
As a successful candidate you will a have a degree in Engineering Mechanical or Civil Engineering with at least a solid experience within a quality function in engineering, involved in projects of a similar nature. Preferably experience in managing quality of Civil and MEP works, trackwork, roads, earthworks, aggregates and ballast; concrete – RMC/Pre-Cast/Pre-Stressed and materials testing and evaluation. Preferably Quality Management qualification and IRCA Lead Assessor/Auditor Certificate (ISO 9001: 2015). Preferably worked for major Consultancy on major projects and rail experience is desirable. You must have rail experience and a valid UAE driving license.
