Our LGA is 10,000 km2, and our impressive Infrastructure and Engineering division includes an award winning Water Dept (comprising 6 water supply schemes, state of the art water treatment plants, 14 sewerage schemes and 10 recycled water schemes) and an extensive network of road and bridge infrastructure.

The role

What you’ll bring:

Degree level qualification (or near graduate) in civil engineering or other discipline relevant to local govt infrastructure
Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles
Working knowledge of the regulatory environment of the local government sector
The genuine desire and commitment to excel

The package: Commencing salary package circa $62,650 p.a. plus superannuation

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Fulltime 3 year fixed term
