Licensed Electrician

• Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Complete work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
• Maintain (e.g., inspect, clean) and repair industrial equipment batteries according to procedures (e.g., tips, contacts, cables).
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, banana room equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according to procedures
• Diagnose electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g. multi-meter, laptop).
• Reviews and approves the work of others performing electrical repairs to ensure the work is done according to National Electric Code (NEC).
• Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious.
• Reviews, installs, inspects, and coordinates all new electrical services as well as modifications to existing electrical services in the DC and ensures compliance with National Electric Code (NEC).
• Reviews updated electrical blueprints and creates electrical red line drawings for modifications to electrical systems to ensure accuracy with the as built condition of the facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS!

• 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment (for example, forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, automated equipment)
• Experience in blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Electrician’s License
