OCEANR was founded in Cork, Ireland, in 2016 by three friends looking to create the world’s first eco-friendly rash vest for the water sports and leisure sectors. Role

We are looking for a talented Brand Marketing Manager to join the OCEANR team.

Reporting to the Revenue Operations Manager, you will be responsible for defining and managing the go-to-market strategy, including but not limited to the marketing plan and the content calendar, plus all the B2C and B2B campaigns that sit within this. Continually measuring their effectiveness to ensure we are maximising opportunities.

As Marketing Manager, you’ll champion understanding the brand’s customers better than anyone else in the business. Ensure that all campaigns are forward-thinking, audience-relevant and engaging, driving customer acquisition and retention and increasing brand sentiment within this audience.

Working with Revenue Operations, Sales and Customer Success teams, you ensure that our brand values and proposition are delivered effectively across the customer journey, from attraction to account growth. Revenue Operations will work with you to align the messaging across all channels.

Responsibilities

The OCEANR marketing manager is responsible for improving the volume, quality, and predictability of marketing qualified leads and marketing-sourced pipeline to deliver continued increases in marketing-sourced revenue.

They take ownership of the development and execution of marketing campaigns and work with sales and customer success teams to drive awareness, increase sales, and create loyalty.

This role owns, conceptualises and executes marketing strategy. Senior marketing managers partner and interact with all OCEANR resources to supply materials supporting marketing concepts. They are immersed in all aspects of the marketing process, including conceptualising how and when to use marketing materials to capture the target audience, brainstorming, and working with internal resources to execute new marketing ideas. As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, Paid Social, affiliate and other test channels through agencies or internal teams.
  • Support the social and experiential marketing activities set within the agreed brand marketing plan, including: Events

PR
Influencers and ambassadors
Inbound and warm outreach campaigns

  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (traffic, engagement and outcomes)
  • Support annual and monthly planning with solid recommendations based on insight and ambition.
  • Work with media agencies and internal teams to manage monthly planning and forecasting across digital and offline channels.
  • Report weekly and monthly on campaign performance, insight and channel-level activity.
  • Regularly review competitor activity and deliver a competitive advantage through targeting, creativity and channel mix.
  • Identify trends and insights in digital marketing and use these to optimise spend and performance.
  • Manage and optimise creative messaging by channel and demographic.
  • Usvariousof analytics tools to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points management and measurement of digital and website performance against agreed KPIs (page load, bounce rate, time on site etc.)
  • Work closely with the Front End development team to implement micro and macro improvements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Take ownership of our digital marketing testing plan and drive incremental growth.
  • Managing the market budget
  • Using the analytics and reporting at the Board level
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting all marketing activities, results, and ROI.
  • We are analysing consumer behaviour and determining our customer personas.

Ultimately, the role is turning our aggressive growth plans into a robust and effective marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate:

This is a new, pivotal role, so we are keen to speak to individuals who have considerable experience in leading a marketing function in a high-end environment.

  • Work experience as a Marketing manager, preferably within our sector or close to it.
  • Demonstrable experience in building and executing a marketing strategy that positively impacts awareness and pipeline growth.
  • Experience running successful marketing campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of marketing analytics and CRM.
  • Exceptional personal performance in delivering challenging objectives.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Up to date with the Google ecosystem, social platforms and latest marketing software packages.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €45,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
