About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated individual in the position of Project Engineer to join our Civil Operations Engineering team on a permanent full-time basis. The position of Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring Council’s Civil Operations projects and programs are completed within priority time and budget constraints. You will ensure all designated projects and programs are appropriately scoped, developed and implemented to achieve desired outcomes.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and/or relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in project estimating and cost control.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White) Card.
  • Current Class C Driver Licence.

Salary: The salary range for this position ranges from $88,919.00 – $102,926.00 per annum plus 10.5% Superannuation. A 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance will be payable in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020. The salary will be negotiated based on the skills, qualifications and experience of the preferred applicant.

Access to a Leaseback Vehicle is available with this position; however, it is not a condition of employment.
