Job Duties and Responsibilities
Weekend Shift (Saturday-Sunday)
- Greet upon arrival ensuring a safe, comfortable, efficient and personalized experience
- register patients according to established protocols
- request required information from patients and assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation and print required MOH requisitions
- ensure patients have followed necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection
- Complete data entry of required patient demographics, requisition information
- Data enter all patient and test information for MOH requisitions in an accurate and timely manner
- Verify the completeness of all OHIP documentation, update, maintain and manage patient records ensuring patient information is accurate including billing information
- Prepare paperwork forms for special test collections, such as medical/legal drug screens, paternity tests, and clinical trials, and complete related documentation
- Process add-on test requests and subsequent specimen selection orders
- collect co-pays and payments
- answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries and transfer calls as required
- schedule patient appointments
- Prepares packages accurately for transport per assigned procedures and protocols, with regards to incoming and outgoing post/shipments and arrange courier service ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
- Prioritizes safety by demonstrating appropriate infection control maintain stock of forms and office supplies complete other clerical duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
