  • Fantastic opportunity for qualified/experienced Registered Nurses looking to take a break or move away from front line nursing
  • Casual, Part-Time and Full-Time, Fixed-Term until June 2023


About the Role

As a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse you will support one of our largest Federal Government clients in a Clinical Contact Centre Agent role.

These are fantastic opportunities to work from anywhere across Australia, even from the comfort of your own home!

You will provide clinical support and customer service to our client’s customers via inbound or outbound calls and correspondence processing. This includes answering inbound or outbound phone contact, conducting health interviews and assessments, and adhering to a strict scope of practice defined by our client and your level of professional qualification.

Document all interactions in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines and work instructions. Identify and escalate incidents and concerns in line with Serco’s Clinical Governance Framework and ensure protection of personal information in accordance with Serco and our client’s policies and procedures.

Participate in team meetings and staff training activities including preparing and assisting in the provision of training of other staff members at the direction of a Clinical Team Leader/Operations Manager. Work effectively and cohesively in a team environment, proactively suggest ways to improve our processes, product and foster a positive work culture.

Successfully achieve individual and team performance targets as specified by contractual agreement between Serco and our client.

 


About You

You have a professional, patient, and friendly manner and enjoy interacting with patients and assisting with various healthcare needs.

You enjoy working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a commitment to delivering safe, efficient and high-quality care. You take pride in contributing to the delivery of the highest standards of care to patients.

Collaborative with a strong customer service focus, and the ability to build rapport and trust quickly and easily. A quick problem solver, able to ‘think on your feet’ with a strong governance and compliance background is a must.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) in the healthcare system. Varied nursing background involving public contact, not limited to A&E, Paediatric, Community Care and Acute Medical/Surgical
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the

Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)

  • Recent participation in CPD activities in accordance with APRHA
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in inbound, outbound call handling and correspondence
  • National Police Check and clearances as per requirement from the client
  • Strong computer and IT competency
