Job Description
- Provide expert knowledge and hands on support on all aspects of electrical and electronic equipment
- Liaise with Senior Engineer in the creation of electrical equipment works
- Service maintenance and inspections and undertake preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Assist management team with spare part identification, spares requirements for In Service Maintenance Attendance and annual overhaul
- Annual review of Electrical equipment identifying and providing solutions to any potential risks to system operation
- Maintain and update records of attendance, reports, performance,and repairs
- Perform condition monitoring and review condition monitoring reports, assessing issues, and identifying and creating solutions to address potential risks to equipment
- Provide expertise knowledge, input and support to Asset Management led projects
- Extensive network travel and remote working will be a factor of the role. Ability to travel network is essential.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience within the marine electrical industry is essential; you must be capable of exercising sound judgement in both proactive/reactive vessel operation and team management scenarios
- NC and/or professional qualifications in Marine Electrical/Electronic systems is minimum requirement
- Be able to demonstrate experience of maintaining and fault finding
- Highly developed communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
