Key Role:

Contribute to a project that meets challenges in space operations, technology, policy, and strategy by collaborating with the development team to build a full-stack web application focused on innovation with user-centric design. Work with a team of UI/UX designers and developers to create a seamless user experience using Python, React, Django, and Vue. Hone your skills and learn how to ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. Receive mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills. Contribute to a team that focuses on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Experience with HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), or JavaScript
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, or Vue
  • Experience with SharePoint framework or client-side SharePoint development
  • Experience with web application programming interfaces (APIs), and Structured Query Language (SQL) database creation and management
  • Ability to work with Python or Django
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams or projects to resolve complex problems and influence leadership and key stakeholders
  • Ability to review technical requirements for applicability to an existing or planned system
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience building applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or onboarding other applications to AWS
  • Experience with AWS Simple Storage Solution (S3) and AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)
  • Experience with Gitlab
  • Experience with Django Representational State Transfer (REST) framework
  • Knowledge of Agile and software development principles
  • Ability to create and revise software documentation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
