Role – Assistant Marketing Manager

Location – Leeds (Hybrid)

Salary – £27,000 – £35,000 per annum

Role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer to join the UK’s biggest online Pharmacy where they will work with a lot of autonomy & make a real difference. This role is best suited for a candidate looking to take true ownership of our campaigns and media buying across some of our key channels, working as part of the performance marketing team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be strategic & creative as well as build solid, collaborative relationships with agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow performance through all offline channels including TV, Door drop, and Out of Home
  • Identify key audiences and appropriate channels to target them whilst securing the best possible media cost and placement
  • Report on and forecast performance for all channels alongside the Digital Marketing team
  • Identify new media opportunities and campaigns
  • Work with agencies, partners and stakeholder organisations to deliver a programme of activity to grow awareness, word of mouth referrals and patient acquisition
  • Plan and execute all offline marketing from audience segmentation to delivery and reporting
  • Manage the performance and execution of our inserts campaigns from planning to creative delivery
  • Manage and report on competitor activity, patient and market insights for the team
  • Researching and analysing market trends and competitors.
  • Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the team.
  • Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
  • Manage a Multimillion budget
  • Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures.
  • Overseeing the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and festivals.
  • Creative testing and optimisation for relevant channels
  • Producing and executing our offline media strategy

Skills

  • Complementary analytical and creative abilities
  • The ability to work under own initiative and lead.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy imperative
  • Aware of media trends and have a flair for business and commerce
  • Resourceful and creative, recognising good opportunities
  • Excellent negotiators with good interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and comfortable interpreting data into meaningful research
  • Experienced presenter with good written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience managing large budgets, ideally in a multichannel environment
  • Experience managing and executing above the line and offline campaigns
  • A good understanding of how multichannel campaigns work together.
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering ROI within a direct to consumer marketing environment
  • 3+ years experience planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
