Description

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager role is a vital role in how we position our products and services in new and existing markets. Working closely with Product, Sales and Regional Directors, this role will help to successfully identify our unique points of differentiation through a global Voice of the Customer programme. Performing market research analysis and trends in an exciting and growing market, so that we can put our customers at the heart of what we do.
In addition, this role will play a key part in equipping our colleagues with the tools and materials to communicate our vision and value. Taking Sales Enablement to the next level and rolling out a Colleague Enablement programme that enables us all to articulate the great value we provide and the purpose behind our passion.
Key Responsibilities
**
**Product and Sales Enablement

  • Create clear value propositions across all product lines for target market segments, sectors and regions
  • Develop a marketing message framework for our entire product stack based on value propositions and brand guidelines
  • Lead product launch activity over seeing key launch phases. Design and implement go-to-market launch plan, both internally and externally
  • Create marketing assets including collateral, sales materials and content. Translate new feature releases into meaningful sales and marketing collateral
  • Generate and execute targeted campaigns to deliver growth, usage and adoption
  • Regularly report on campaign performance and marketing KPIs, with a drive for continual improvement
  • Work with Product to develop a sales enablement plan and train and equip sales

Research

  • Collaborate with Insights, Strategy, and Product Management teams to coordinate research activities and ensure best practice techniques are followed for each interaction
  • Overall management of all market research projects. Conduct market research to determine brand perceptions, understand customer needs, evaluate market penetration, product concept testing, and analyse competitors
  • Interrogate data sets to define and develop customer personas and provide actionable insight on customer needs and behaviours
  • Be the “go-to” expert on market and customer needs for the market space
  • Managing costs and budgets for research projects and external supplier management

Qualifications

  • Marketing or Business-related degree
  • CIM or equivalent professional qualification, or working towards

Person Specification

**KNOWLEDGE

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft suite
  • In-depth understanding of best-practice data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Strong budget management skills

EXPERIENCE

  • 5 + years in marketing
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing and product marketing implementation
  • Successful track record of running and/or launching global products/services portfolios
  • Experience of using a marketing automation software, CRM and CMS preferred
  • Experience in a procurement, supply chain compliance or CSR environment preferred
  • A track-record of success – showing demonstrable impact on marketing KPI’s
